These photos are by my friend and client, Kacy Heinrich. The mare is Washashe, a gorgeous bay Thoroughbred, with long legs and a great hind end. She lives in Beavercreek, OR, and loves to climb the surrounding mountains carrying her loving owner.
- Assessment of Wa’s neck, and “it hurts here” she says.
- Washashe loves to be stretched
- Supple shoulder muscles help every horse’s forward stride
- Yawning, happy mare
P.S. Kacy Heinrich, this mare’s owner, wins the prize on softest, cleanest, and best groomed horse in my world. Kacy is a great hair dresser & stylist. I’d say she’s wonderful with color too, but that lets out my secret.
Kacy also has had success in healing the white marks on her mare’s withers from a saddle rubbing problem.

HAHA!!! Thanks for the nice plug to my trade! I love working on your hair too!
Love the compliments on my mare’s condition…as much as she is sensitive and mostly dislikes grooming…I manage to keep my “BEST GROOMED” status with you…great-YOU would know, having had your hands on many!
LOVE YA, and absorb all that wonderful training in Florida!
